State Verbs and Temporary Actions
Why some state verbs can be progressive
State verbs usually describe a condition, feeling, thought, possession, sense, or relationship. They are normally used in the simple form.
Some state verbs can be used in the progressive form when the meaning changes. The progressive form often shows a temporary action, temporary behaviour, active experience, or changing situation.
