Good and Well

We use good as an adjective. It describes a noun.

Example: She is a good friend.
[Sie ist eine gute Freundin.]

We usually use well as an adverb. It describes a verb.

Example: He sings well.
[Er singt gut.]

Well can also be an adjective when we talk about health.

Example: I don’t feel well today.
[Ich fühle mich heute nicht wohl.]

Feel good = mood / emotions.
Feel well = health.
