Adding Information — Linking Words
How to Add Information
We use linking words to add more information in a sentence.
Common words:
and — simple addition
also — additional point
too — similar meaning to “also” (usually at the end)
as well — like “too” (more formal)
in addition — more formal addition
furthermore / moreover — strong, formal addition
Example:
I speak English and German.

She works hard. In addition, she studies every evening.
