More Prepositions of Time

  1. For
    • Used to indicate a duration of time (how long something lasts).
      Example: "She has lived here for 10 years."
  2. Since
    • Used to refer to the starting point of an action or event that continues to the present.
      Example: "They have been dating since 2010."
  3. From
    • Indicates the starting point of a time range. Often paired with "to" or "until."
      Example: "The movie will play from Friday to Sunday."
  4. In
    • Used with parts of the day, months, years, centuries, and longer periods.
      Example: "She was born in 1990."
  5. At
    • Used for specific times, holidays (without "day"), and specific points of the day.
      Example: "The train leaves at 7:30 PM."
  6. On
    • Used with specific days, dates, and parts of specific days.
      Example: "We have class on Monday."
  7. During
    • Indicates something happening within a specific period or event.

  8. To
