The Simple Present tense is used to talk about actions that happen regularly, facts, or general truths.
When to Use Simple Present:

1. Routine Actions: Things you do often.
   • Example: I eat breakfast every day.
2. Facts: Information that is always true.
   • Example: The sun rises in the east.
3. Scheduled Events: Timetable or planned events.
   • Example: The bus leaves at 8 AM.

How to Form Simple Present:

• For most subjects: Use the base form of the verb.
  • Example: They play soccer.
• For he, she, or it: Add -s or -es to the verb.
  • Example: She plays soccer.

Negative Form:

• Add do not or does not before the verb.
  • Example: I do not (don't) like ice cream.
  • Example: He does not (doesn't) swim.

Questions:

• Use do or does before the subject.
  • Example: Do you like pizza?
  • Example: Does she work here?
