The Simple Present tense is used to talk about actions that happen regularly, facts, or general truths.

- Scheduled Events: Timetable or planned events.
- Example: The bus leaves at 8 AM.
- For most subjects: Use the base form of the verb.
- Example: They play soccer.
- For he, she, or it: Add -s or -es to the verb.
- Example: She plays soccer.
- Add do not or does not before the verb.
- Example: I do not (don't) like ice cream.
- Example: He does not (doesn't) swim.
- Use do or does before the subject.
- Example: Do you like pizza?
- Example: Does she work here?
