1. IN
  • Use in for longer periods of time, such as months, years, centuries, or parts of the day.
  • Examples:
    • In the morning (part of the day)
    • In July (month)
    • In 1995 (year)
    • In the 21st century (century)

2. ON
  • Use on for specific days and dates.
  • Examples:
    • On Monday (day of the week)
    • On my birthday (specific day)
    • On July 4th (specific date)
    • On Christmas Day (specific holiday)

3. AT
Use at for exact times and specific points in time.
  • Examples:
    • At 5 o'clock (exact time)
    • At noon (specific point in time)
    • At midnight (specific point in time)
    • At sunrise (specific point in time)
