Setting: The CEO, Maria, and the CFO, Klaus, are in the company’s meeting room, talking about the company’s numbers, new projects, and plans to improve.
Maria (CEO): Klaus, if we look at the report, we will see that we’ve had a good quarter. But if we don’t address some issues, things might get harder later.
Klaus (CFO): Yes, Maria. If sales of copper pipes continue to grow, we will have strong revenue. But if material costs stay high because of (wegen) market changes, our profits will be affected.
